Obituary for John Anthony Apanavicius John Anthony Apanavicius, 59, of Anderson, passed away on October 3, 2018. He was born on December 27, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois and resided most of his life in Chicago. He was an avid Chicago Blackhawks and Bears fan. John is survived by his sons, Anthony Apanavicius and Matthew Apanavicius; and his granddaughter, Eve Apanavicius. Also surviving are his siblings, Anne Hester, Nina (Frank) Lucas, Betty Seyler, Frank (Tannie) Apanavicius, Ruth Breault, Rose Andrade, Rita (Ted) Pasik, and Edward Apanavicius; God-daughter, Barbie Apanavicius Lovell, and dozens of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Eva Apanavicius; and siblings, Richard Apanavicius, Joseph Apanavicius, and Jani Apanavicius.
