Mr. Joe Allen age 70 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018. He was retired from Norfolk-Southern after 30 years of service, a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era, and was the Chairman of United Transportation Union, Local 1301 Trainmen. Preceded in death by Parents, John and Carolyn Hayes Allen. Survivors: Children, Son, Brad Allen, and Daughter, Jodi Parrish, and Husband, Ed; Grandchildren, Kaine and Maevry Parrish; Fiancé, Becca Taylor; Sister, Gypsy Harrill; Several other relatives and friends. The family will gather to receive friends Saturday from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel.
