JoAnn E. Wilson passed away at her home on October 11, 2018 in Lutz, FL, at the age of 82. Originally born in Jacksonville, FL, JoAnn lived in the Tampa area for over 60 yrs. During her time in Tampa, JoAnn worked for Honeywell, and later for Hallmark Greeting Cards. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. JoAnn enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and leaves behind a legacy of love and faith. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert “Bob” Wilson, and her great-grandson, Zachary Brazinski; her brothers: Farl Carter of Lutz, FL, Roy Carter of Valrico, FL, and sister, Frances Salter of Lutz, FL JoAnn is survived by her son, Rick and wife Cathy of Morriston, FL; two grandchildren: Jennifer Brazinski and husband Jason of Dade City, FL; and Ashley Sullivan and husband Daniel of New York, NY; three great-grandchildren: Annika Brazinski, Derrick Brazinski, and Abram Brazinski; and sister: Edna Taylor of Lutz, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, October 22, 2018 from 10 – 11 AM at MacDonald Funeral Home followed by the funeral at 11 AM. Further services and burial will follow at 2 pm at the Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell, Florida. Following the graveside ceremony, friends and family are invited to gather in Brooksville, FL for a reception to visit together and celebrate JoAnn’s life.
