Jerry Rone 2018

Jerry Rone, age 48 of Bowling Green lost his battle with stomach cancer September 28, 2018 at Hospice of Southern KY. He was full of life and fought hard to the very end. Jerry was a HVAC mechanic for 30 years. His current employer was Advanced Sheet Metal of Bowling Green. He was a member of Meadowland Baptist Church, and sometimes attended Plano Chapel Holiness Church. Jerry was preceded in death by his Dad, Tommy Rone, who passed away in 1992. Also a niece, April Nicole Rone who passed away in 1999. Survivors include his Mother, Wanda Rone of Bowling Green. Two children, Brooke Rone and fiancé Darrien Key of Bowling Green, and Jagger Rone also of Bowling Green. Also their mother, Laurie Young. In addition there are two granddaughters, Madilynn, and Haiden. Two Brothers, Keith and his wife, Cheri, his twin, Terry and his wife Wendy also of Bowling Green. In addition, there are several nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin Tuesday at 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. at J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel, and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Plano Chapel Holiness Church Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to offset funeral expenses.
