Jean Katherine Camerlengo 2018

Jean Katherine Camerlengo, age 82, of North Reading, formerly of West Barnstable, died Monday in the Kaplan Family Hospice House after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Angelina (Miccichi) Camerlengo. She was raised in Medford, and attended Medford High School. She had lived in West Barnstable for 25 years. Jean had worked in retail for many years before moving to Cape Cod. For 15 years, she worked as a receptionist for Beard Chevrolet in Hyannis. She was warm and generous to family and friends alike, and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her brother; Joseph R. Camerlengo and his wife Debbie of North Reading; her sister-in-law, Phyllis Camerlengo of Lynn; her brother-in-law, Richard Manley of Hyannis; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings; Lorraine Manley and Ralph R. and Anthony R. Camerlengo; as well as her close companion, Anthony Coconides. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 11:30AM in the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt 129), Lynn. Burial will be in Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visitation will be on Friday from 10AM-11:30AM, prior to the funeral. Those who prefer may make donations to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
