Mrs. Janice Parrish Turner, age 72, of 31A Baltimore Ave., Danville, VA, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at SOVAH Health-Danville, She was born on September 03, 1946, in Eden, NC, to the late Wiley Parrish and Ruby Warren Parrish. Mrs. Turner was a member of Stateline Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Angela Mayhew and husband, Russell and Butch Robinson and wife, Diane, all of Danville, VA; Joseph Scearce and fiancée, Angel Conner, of Yanceyville, NC and Roger Lee Turner; grandchildren, Kayla Scearce, Noah Mayhew, Quinton Mayhew, Hayley Robinson, and Patrick Robinson; and life-long friend, Judy Davis. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turner was predeceased by siblings, Otis Parrish and Linda Parrish. A celebration of Mrs. Turner’s life will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on October 25, 2018 at Central Boulevard Church of God with Rev. Butch Robinson and Pastor Russell Mayhew officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends join them in a time of fellowship around the table. Please feel free to bring a covered dish for the dinner.
