OBITUARY James Wesley Hathcock April 12, 1932 – October 30, 2018 James Wesley Hathcock, 86, of Hadensville, passed away on October 30, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Hathcock. He retired from the Henrico County Maintenance Department with 30 years of service. James grew vegetables and enjoyed selling them to his community at various vegetable stands. He is survived by his son, William Hathcock (Kathie), Nancy Goodman (Charlie), and Patricia Conwell (Barry); seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 5-8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory – Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland, VA 23005, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2pm. Interment will follow in Riverside Baptist Church, Beaverdam, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in his honor.
