Obituary for Herchel Yost Herschel Franklin Yost, 85, of Chloe, WV died early Monday morning October 15, 2018 at Minnie Hamilton Health System. He was born in Calhoun County, on July 18, 1933, to the late Thomas “Tom” Yost and Evelyn “Maude” Vincent Arnold of Chloe, WV. He served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955 and was retired from Ford in Brookpark, OH. Surviving are his wife, Sharon Hatten Yost of Chloe, WV; children, Millie Norris of Rittman, OH; Frank (Patty) Yost; Bill (Wannetta) Yost; Theresa (Gary) Gatten all of Creston, OH; Don (Jen) Yost of Killbuck, OH; two brothers, Bernard Yost of Chardon, OH; Jerry Yost of Rittman, OH; 24 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda K Hostetler of Creston, OH; and his brother Hubert Yost of WV. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg WV. Rev. Tim Hickman will officiate. Friends and family will gather at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
