Harold M. Sprague Belfast – On Tuesday Morning Sept. 25, 2018 Harold passed away at his home with his loving family and Wife of 66 years by his side. Harold was born Feb. 5 1932 in Belfast, Maine to Earl A. Sprague and Edith E. (Childs) Sprague, second from the youngest of 5 boys and one sister. Harold joined the National Guard at the age of 14 and transferred to the Navy in 1949, where he served on board the Air Craft Carrier The USS Bennington CV20 in Korea. He left the Navy in 1954… Read More » and Settled in Ruskin, Florida where he had a Construction Business, he transplanted his young family back to Maine Four years later. He settled on Oak Hill Rd at City Point, where he operated several businesses over the years. He enjoyed Hunting, fishing, Lobstering, Musket and Bow and Arrow Hunting. What he loved most was spending time with his Wife and Family and close friends. He is survived by his Wife of 66 years Betty J. (Christopher) Sprague, and Daughters Debra J. Bouchard, of Pineville, Louisiana, Sheryl D. Harvey, of Stockton Springs, Maine and Harold M. Sprague II of Cheyenne, Wyoming. He has been blessed with Granddaughters and Grandsons, and Step Granddaughters, Also Great Grandsons, Great Granddaughters, and Many nieces and nephews. A very special and well loved man he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
