Harold Manning Hodges, 82 of Milton FL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 25, 2018. Harold was born in Morristown TN and lived there until he joined the military. He retired from the US Navy in Milton Florida after 21 years of service. Harold loved watching college football, enjoyed dancing, traveling and going out to dinner. He was preceded in death by parents Charles Irvin Hodges & Nannie Mitchell Hodges, son Timothy Glenn Hodges, and brother William Bryant Hodges. He is survived by his soul mate of 27 years, Dean Smith of Milton FL; sons, Mark Allen (Judy) Hodges and Anthony ‘Tony’ Charles Hodges; daughter, Lauina (Danny) Cook; brother, Benny Hodges, special granddaughter Miranda Nicole Hodges; many other grandchildren, nieces and nephews. ] The family received friends from 12:00 – 1:00 Monday October 29, 2018 at Lewis Funeral Home in Milton, FL. prior to the funeral at 1:00 with Brother Duke Barrow officiating the service. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in Emma Jarnagin Cemetery, Morristown, Tn. Local arrangements provided by Allen Funeral Home.
