On Tuesday, October 16, 2018 surrounded by family Gregory Butfiloski joined his parents Helen and Alfred in heaven. Born in Elizabeth he resided in Linden for 32 years. He was a lifetime New York Yankee fan and former U.S. Naval serviceman of the Vietnam War. He has passed along not only his love of the sea but also baseball to his family. Gregory was a retired warehouseman for the Local 863 of Woodbridge. He is survived by his loving wife Janet (Novak), devoted children Amy and Dennis, daughter-in-law Tara and two granddaughters, TayLynn Elizabeth and Kacey Lee. Visiting Sunday, 4:00-8:00 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, October 22, 2018 9:00 am at the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 E. St. Georges Avenue, Linden, N.J. 07036. Funeral mass St. Elizabeth RC Church, Linden 10:00 am. Cremation Rosehill Crematory, Linden. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to The Valerie Fund 2101 Millburn Ave Maplewood, NJ 07040 would be appreciated.
