Gilbert Ivan Campfield, 83, passed away October 22, 2018 at Asante Rogue Hospital in Medford, Oregon. He was born in Redlands, California December 17, 1934 to parents Ivan and Nellie Reed Campfield. Gilbert, a resident of Central Point, worked at Boise Cascade Plywood until his retirement in 1997. He married Patricia Sloper July 2, 1957. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycles. He served in the Marine Corps for three years in Korea and was an atomic test vet in Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and two brothers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Oregon Humane Society.
