OBITUARY Fred Robert Waite December 9, 1962 – October 3, 2018 Fred R. Waite, age 55, of Athens, Tennessee, died peacefully on October 3, 2018 with his wife, Kelly Waite, and his sister, Diane Pettinelli at his side. Fred was born in Bennington, Vermont and was a graduate of Siena College. Fred loved his family, his dogs, and making people happy. He loved flying small aircraft, spending time at his pool, and time with his family. Fred is survived by his wife Kelly; his daughters Christine and Stefanie; his stepdaughters Danyell Wilson (Brandon), Felicia Faulkner (Simon), and Brianna Jonovich; his mother Germaine Meilach (Michael) ; his father Robert Waite; his sisters Diane Pettinelli (John) and Sandra Bardenett (Larry); and his brother Thomas Waite (Terri). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday October 6, 2018 at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, Tennessee 37932, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the McMinn County Animal Shelter in Fred’s name would be appreciated.
