Obituary for Fannie Sue Newberry Fannie Sue Newberry, age 73, of Philadelphia, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 20, 2018. Fannie was a loving wife, mother,grandmother, great-grandmother. She was of the baptist faith. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter Fred and Stella Mae Daniels Womac, Two sisters. Survivors include, Husband of 49 years, Fred Lee Newberry of Philadelphia Sons and daughter-in-law, Rick Meadows of Philadelphia, Walter J. Newberry and wife Katherine of Ten Mile, Daniel Lee Newberry and wife Kristi of Knoxville Daughter, Donna Elaine Newberry of Athens Eleven grandchildren and Seven great-grandchildren Sister, Mattie Brady of Athens Brothers and sister-in-law, Walter Junior Womac and Lisa of Ten Mile, Eddie Dean Womac . Several nieces and nephews. The body is at Sweetwater Memory Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday, October 26, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, October 27, 2018 2:00 PM in Sweetwater Memory Chapel with Rev. Frank Kincannon officiating. Interment to follow in Sweetwater Memorial Park.
