Etta Clyde Kirby 2018

Etta Clyde Kirby, 91, of Marble Falls, Texas, formerly of Bowling Green, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at her residence. The Warren County native was born December 7, 1926 to the late Herschel Goodnight Motley and Laura Belle Cox Motley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Aubra Odell Kirby; son, Phillip Leo Kirby; and her brothers and sisters. She worked at Cutler Hammer and also as a personal care giver. Clyde was a member of Whitestone Quarry Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Edward Eugene Kirby, M.D. and wife Gerry of Horseshoe Bay, Texas and grandchildren, Jon Todd Kirby, Dereck Odell Kirby, Philip Brent Kirby, Anna Elizabeth Kirby, Jennifer Mills, and Mary Jo Garrison. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday with visitation from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Friday and from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday all at the Broadway Chapel. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff of the Arbor House Memory Care Unit for the dedicated care they provided for their mother over the past five years. Special thanks also to the Hill Country Memorial Hospice for the compassionate care they provided their mother to make her end of life peaceful.
