Centralia resident Ernest Lawrence Schmitt, age 76, passed away on October 26, 2018 at Virginia Mason Medical Center. He was born on March 5, 1942 to William and Gertrude Schmitt in Centralia Washington. He attended school at Centralia High School and became a Business Owner in Auto Repair. On August 18, 1962 he married Deanna Harris in Centralia and raised their loving family. Ernest is survived by his loving spouse Deanna, two brothers; Al Schmitt and Bill Schmitt, two sisters; Esther Blair and Mildred Donald, two sons; Lee Schmitt and Glen Schmitt, two grandsons; Tyson Schmitt and Kyle Schmitt, two granddaughters; Jayln Schmitt and Lindsay Schmitt, and great-grandson; Lexton Schmitt. He was preceded in death by his Father; William Schmitt, and his mother; Gertrude Miller. A Celebration of Life will be held at Harrison Square Presbyterian Church on November 10, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. Online condolences can be given at www.newellhoerlings.com.
