Obituary for Ernest Knight Ernest Winfred Knight, age 71, of Cedar Hill, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Tennova Medical Center in Clarksville. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 at 1pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Don Dungan officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on October 12th from 11am until the hour of service at 1pm. Mr. Knight was born January 22, 1947 in Springfield, Tennessee to the late Ernest and Elmer Whitaker Knight. He attended Cedar Hill Baptist Church when he was able, was kind and good natured and had a gentle and loving heart. In addition to his parents Mr. Knight is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Knight and his nephew, Stephen Rigsby. Mr. Knight is survived by his sister, Star Rigsby of Cedar Hill and his niece, Bethany Mahurin of Cedar Hill. Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
