Obituary for Emogene Shank (Brown) Emogene Shank, 81, wife to the late Kenneth Shank, passed away on Wednesday October 3, 2018 at Jewish Hospital. Besides her husband she is preceded in death by siblings, Lucy, Pauline, Evalene, Pearl, Everett along with a grandson, Brian Baum. She retired from Naval Ordinance and was a member of South Jefferson Christian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Updike (Mike), Wendy Wooten (Cody) and siblings Sonny, Kathleen, Maxine, Barbara, and Alene. She will also be missed by grandchildren, Jennifer Davis, Jacob Wooten, Brett Updike, Kaleb Updike and great-grandchildren, Chase, Ryliegh, Hailey, Justin, Jakob, Jayde, Jordan, Joseph, Jacie, Bradley, Kirsten, Kala, Caitlin, and Dylan. Funeral services will be held Saturday (October 13, 2018) at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will Saturday (October 13, 2018) from 10 until time of service.
