OBITUARY Elfie Marie (Pellech) Meredith October 23, 1930 – October 5, 2018 Elfie Marie Meredith of Ramer, Alabama passed away on October 5, 2018 at the age of 87. She was born in October 1930 in the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria. Known by many as “Omama”, she was a loving and kind Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She enjoyed being outdoors, tending to her flowers and her garden, and was an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Leon Meredith; parents, Stephan and Golabinka Pellech; and her brother, Walter Pellech. Mrs. Meredith is survived by her daughter, Anna Maria Cargile (Mike); son, Alvin Meredith (Connie); grandchildren, Misty Sessions, Justin Sessions, Elizabeth Horne (Kyle), Taylor Meredith, and Joeseph Meredith; and great grandchildren, Bryce Poitevint, Bragg Sessions, Bradley Davis, Oakley Horne, and Aiden Horne; and special friends that she loved as her own children, Ricky Moseley and Brittany Osborne. A Visitation will be held on Monday, October 8, from 1:30pm-2:30pm at Leak Memory Chapel. A Graveside service will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery at 3:00pm.
