Doris Nell (Grist) Duncan, 81, of Henderson passed away Monday, October 29, 2018. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 26, 1937 to the late Irwin Keenum and June (Hamm) Grist Doris was a secretary and bookkeeper for Henderson Chevrolet. She was a member of the Church of the Cross in Evansville and a former member of Zion Baptist Church. Survivors… Read More » include 3 children: Tamara Whitmore and husband Bill, Charles William Duncan, Jr., Dennis Duncan, 2 sisters: Melba Baker, Wanda Brungart, 4 grandchildren: Bethany Lingerfelt, Jennifer Whitmore, Haylee Whitmore, Taylor Whitmore, 1 great-grandchild Bennett Lingerfelt, nieces Cassy Gilliam and husband Jerry, Julie McCormick, nephews Calvin Blount and wife Sonya, Bill Duncan and several other nieces and nephews. A Graveside service will be held at 10:30AM, Saturday November 3, 2018 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions for Doris Duncan may be made to The Church of the Cross, 7525 N. Green River Rd., Evansville, IN 47725 or Zion Baptist Church, 8158 KY 351, Henderson, KY 42420. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is handling arrangements.
