Dennis R. “Whitey” Bowman, age 71, of Huntingburg, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018, at Deaconess Hospital Midtown in Evansville. He was born January 10, 1947, in Owensboro, Kentucky to Clyde and Naomi (Campbell) Bowman. Dennis worked as a veterinary sales representative; and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Bowman Sr. and Naomi Roy; and three brothers, Clyde Bowman Jr., Terry and Tommy VanWinkle. He… Read More » is survived by three daughters, Kristie (Chris) Snow of Huntingburg, Ind., Shawn Bowman of Ferdinand, Ind., and Ashley (Kyle) Peter of Mishawaka, Ind.; one sister, Richie Coomes of Patronville, Ind.; and three grandchildren, Bryce Barkley, Kaden Bowman and Lydia Peter.
