He was born February 25, 1965 in Columbus, Ohio to Benjamin Durant and Sherbie Jean Ballard. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Milstead Ballard; son, Jayme Ballard (Beverlee); daughter, Jessica Grimes (Jacob); father, Ben Ballard; sister, Debra Ballard; brother, Benny Ballard; and grandson, Travis Leerant Ballard. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherbie Ballard; two brothers, John Kimbrough Smith and Tobby Ballard. Graveside funeral services will be held at Hickory Grove Cemetery on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Billy Ballard and Rev. Glenn Akridge officiating.
