Obituary for Danny Lee Holmes Danny Lee Holmes age 63, of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at a Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax, Virginia following a lengthy illness. He was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the son of Rebecca Ruth Musick Holmes and the late Robert C. Holmes. Danny had spent most of his life in Richlands, Virginia before relocating to Hillsville, Virginia 21 years ago. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Holmes Bramblett his brother, Randall Wayne Holmes. Those who survive him are: His loving mother, Rebecca Holmes of Galax, VA Sisters: Barbara Holmes of Galax, VA Brother: Larry Holmes of Woodlawn, VA Funeral services for Danny L. Holmes will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Gary C. Cope and Rev. Otis Musick officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
