Mr. Curtis Eugene “Goose” Wright, age 68 of Fayette, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at Hospice of West Alabama. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Survivors include one son: Shawn Wright (Jaclyn), four daughters: Tracy Miles (Randall), Christy Tucker (Willie), Rebecca Dunn (Phillip), Beverly Robertson, two sisters: Betty Lou Smith, and Gwendolyn Johnson (Joe), eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and the love of his life: Charlotte Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents: Aaron and Verla Wright, sisters: Gaynell Upton and Margie Clanton, and a brother: Donald Wright. Pallbearers will be: Landon Wright, Scotty Johnson, Marlon Norris, Randall Miles, Barry Smith, and Rodney Smith.
