Conner Clay Lane November 29 2004 October 16 2018 (age 13)

Conner Clay Lane, age 13 of Jacksboro, surrounded by his family, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. He was a member of Cumberland View Baptist Church. Conner enjoyed U.T. football, soccer, running cross country, and hunting. He has touched so many lives with his courageous battle with brain cancer. Everyone loved Conner and his big smile. He is preceded in death by grandfather Ralph Lane. Conner is survived by his loving parents, Curtis and Wendy Lane of Jacksboro; grandparents, Ronald and Shelia McGhee of Jacksboro and grandmother, Debbie Lane of Pioneer; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, his classmates of Jacksboro Middle School, and all his friends around the world that loved him dearly. Visitation will be 2-5 PM Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Cumberland View Baptist Church followed by his funeral service at 5 PM with Rev. Jimmy Ault officiating. Friends and family will meet 10 AM Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in procession to Jacksboro Cemetery for the 11 AM interment.
