Obituary of Concetta Gubitosi Concetta “Chetty” Gubitosi, 85, of Buena and formerly of Vineland, passed away on October 19, 2018 after an extended illness, surrounded by her family and her wonderful caregivers. Chetty touched many lives during her lifetime. After graduating from Glassboro State College now Rowan University she began her teaching career at Carolyn Ritter School in Franklinville, then moved on to Delsea Regional Middle School, teaching eight grade math. She retired in 1995. During her summers she enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the 50 states with her sister Carmela. After her retirement she enjoyed her time with family and friends in her condo in Florida. She is survived by her brother, Charles Gubitosi of Naples, FL; brother & his wife, Albert & Helen Gubitosi of Vineland ; sister, Adeline Gubitosi of Buena ; two nieces & their husbands, Stephanie & William Lenchinsky and Paula & Daniel Mayo; great-niece, Alexandra Lenchinsky; great-nephews, Austin Mayo & Harrison Mayo and her caregivers, Daisy & Myriam; Chetty was predeceased by her parents, Gaetano & Adalina Gubitosi; sisters, Josephine Fiorentino (Carmine), Carmela Gubitosi & Marie Simon; nephew, Charles Gubitosi and her sister-in-law, Angela Gubitosi. A chapel service and burial will be held Thursday at 12:00 pm from Sacred Heart Cemetery, 741 E Walnut Rd, Vineland.
