Charles A Sprague 1949 2018

Obituary of Charles Sprague Charles Allan Sprague of Rock Hill, NY passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at his home. He was 69 years old. He was the son of the late Richard Sprague and Phyllis Ruth Burnett Sprague. Charles was born August 24, 1949 in Cooperstown, NY. He graduated from Milford Central High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was an avid skier and scuba diver. He volunteered his time with little league, Boy Scouts, the Wurtsboro Fire Dept, and the Sullivan County Dive Rescue Team. Charles is survived by his three sons: Ryan and his wife Keri, Brandon, Christopher, and his grandson, Shawn Burke. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Susan, and brother Donald. Family & friends are invited to gather on Thursday, October 11 from 5 to 8pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. His funeral service will be held on Friday, October 12 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery in Liberty.
