Charles Duncan “Charlie” Reifsnider, 67, of Frederick, MD died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at his home. Born June 20, 2018 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late John L. Reifsnider III and the late Margaret (Clark) Reifsnider. He was the husband of Karen (Moss) Reifsnider, to whom he was married for 33 years. Charlie was a graduate of Westminster High School, class of ’69 and Clemson University. He was Chairman of the Board of The Mental Health Management Association of Frederick County. Charlie was an avid collector of vintage telephones. He enjoyed spending time with family members and friends. In addition to his wife Karen, he is survived by a brother, Clark Reifsnider and wife Marion of Florence, SC; brothers-in-law, Ronald Moss and wife Faye of Middletown, MD and Phillip Moss and wife Sheila of Mt. Airy, MD; sister-in-law, Mary Moss Semler of Frederick; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster, MD with Pastor Rob Wills officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Charlie’s name may be made to Federated Charities, 22 S. Market St., Frederick, MD 21701 or to The Mental Health Association of Frederick County, 226 Jefferson St., Frederick, MD 21701.
