Charles A Chamuras Jr 1941 2018

Obituary for Charles Chamuras Jr. Charles A. Chamuras, Jr., 76, of Reading, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018, in his home. He was the husband of Barbara J. (Fegley) Chamuras, who passed away on February 27, 2006. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Charles A. Sr., and Kathryn M. (Billman) Chamuras. Charles was a member of the VFW Post #38 and a Life Member of East Ends AA, both of Reading. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vienam War. Charles worked as a Polisher for Reading Plating and Polishing for 25 years and then a Polisher for Trimmaster in Temple for 9 years, retiring in 2002. Charles is survived by two sons: Charles A., III and Ricky L. both of Reading; two daughters Charlotte A. Showalter, Charlene Branford both of Reading; one brother Kenneth of Laureldale; and one sister Gladys Zawaski of Reading. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by brothers Ronald and Robert and one sister Betty. A graveside service will be held at Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm in Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522.
