Mrs. Charlene Finley Capers, 82 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018, 1:00 p.m. CST at Powell Chapel United Methodist Church in LaFayette, AL, Dr. Randy B. Kelly, Pastor; Officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Columbus, GA. Charlene is survived by a loving sister, Mrs. Kathy Heard, four special nephews, Christopher Finley (JaTasha Howard), Timothy Finley, Carlo Finley and Kenneth Finley, all of LaFayette, AL, special aunt, Eulalar Drake of LaFayette, AL, three step-children, Edie C. (James, Jr.) Kelley, Patricia A. (Michael) Dixon and Darryl A. Culverson, two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Mitchell and Cacilla Woodard, three brothers-in-law, Zebedee (Sharon) Woodard, Bruce (Joretha) Woodard, and Albert (Dorothy) Richardson, ten step-grandchildren, eleven step great-grandchildren, treasured friends, Mrs. Joyce Webber, Mr. Otis and Mrs. Minnie Wiggins, Mrs. Catherine Spencer and Mrs. Woods, a host of nieces, nephews, and others that loved her dearly!
