Catherine Ruth Daniels Ephraim, UT Catherine Ruth Daniels, 83, passed away on October 26, 2018, following a six year battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 12, 1935 in Moroni, Utah, to May Wilcox and Lynn Peterson. She married John Daniels on February 15, 1952, in Moroni, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Catherine and John had six children before eventually divorcing. Catherine was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings, including serving a mission to Tampa, Florida. Catherine is survived by five of her children: Kathy (Dave) Ockey, John (Cyndy) Daniels, Blake (Eva) Daniels, April (Dale) Christensen, and Malissa (Mike) Wolfer; two of her siblings: Floyd (Donna) Peterson and Brenda Christensen; 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Russell, sisters Connie Baker and Linnay Bourne. In compliance with Catherine’s wishes, no funeral will be held. Grave dedication will be held at 11:30 on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at the Ephraim Cemetery. Friends, family and community members who wish to honor Catherine’s life or share condolences may do so between 12:00 and 2:00 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building located at 450 North 200 West in Ephraim.
