Mrs. Carolyn Harris Robbins, age 70 of Franklin, KY, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 9:20 am at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 1, 2018 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY. Carolyn was born November 25, 1947 to the late Billie P. Harris and the late Rebecca Ruth Harris. A son John Benjamin Robbins proceeded in her death. She is survived by 3 daughters Julie Robbins Hazzard of Lexington, KY, Laura Robbins Smith (Andy) of Danville, KY and Amy Robbins Williams (Jeff) of Monroe, NC, grandchildren Kelsey Robbins, Jackson Smith, Harrison Hazzard, Porter Hazzard, Ava Smith and Chase Robbins, a sister Jennie West (Bobby) of Franklin, KY, a brother Thomas Richard Harris of Gulf Shores, AL, a nephew Scott Brown and a niece Ashleigh Harris. Carolyn was a member of the Franklin First Baptist Church and was retired teacher’s aide with the Simpson County School System. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Thursday, November 1, 2018 and from at Gilbert Funeral Home.
