Loving mother and grandmother Carole D. Polley-Paulman, age 81 of Chicago (Sauganash), IL passed away on Thursday October 18th, 2018 late in the evening surrounded by her adoring family. She is preceeded in death by her son Michael Polley III; fiancé Nathan Jones; parents Charles & Dorothy Paulman; ex-spouse Michael Polley Jr. Carole was born on christmas day 1936 and her brillance and angel ways began that magical day. She filled her years by taking on life with exuberance and a classy over the top approach. You saw this in everything she encountered from loving, friendship, socializing, gifting, shopping, travel, chicago sports enthusiast, decorating and fashion. Anyone who was blessed to have her in their lives was changed forever. She often put everyone before her own needs and wants. To help someone in need or put a smile on someones face was her true meaning of life. Carole was a women with an enormous heart that had been touched by God to share with all of us. Life was anything but easy, she actually suffered more heartache and turmoil then any one person should. Still, in all that she chose to LIVE life and always found a way to enjoy. Her energy, humor, caring and kindness left an indelible mark on each and everyone of us. We will all remember the endless adventures from extravagant entertaining, road exploring, holidays, cruises, weekend getaways and attending grandkids activities they will be the memories we all cling to. This world was a happier place with Carole in it. A graveside service will be held at 12 noon, on Friday, November 2nd at the Montrose Cemetery , 5400 N. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, IL. A Celebration of Life will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2nd at 2392 Sumac Drive, Yorkville, IL 60560. Please direct any flowers or memorials to the Yorkville address.
