Obituary for Brian Murray Brian Michael Murray, of Longmont, CO, passed away Friday August 31, 2018, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO at the age of 40. Brian was born on September 7, 1977 at Longmont United Hospital to his mother Diane Barry and father Douglas Murray. Brian enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, and creating art for the people he loved. At 18 years old, he went on to build bridges, where he excelled to be one of the best in the industry. When he was 21 years old, his first child, Alexa, was born on May 6, 1999. Six years later his son, Michael, was born on June 28, 2005. Brian’s kids were his pride and joy. He would do anything to make them happy. Brian’s most recent achievement was receiving his GED this past year. Along with great memories and his unforgettable sense of humor, Brian will be remembered by his daughter, Alexa Murray; his son, Michael Murray; his mother, Diane Barry; his father, Douglas Murray; his younger brother, Timothy Murray; and his ex-wife and longtime friend, Angela Murray. Brian joins his older brother Douglas Murray, Jr., and his best friend John Phar. May they rest in peace. Brian’s Funeral Service will be held at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel on Friday September 7, 2018 at 2:00pm. Brian will live on through everyone who loved him.
