Obituary for Bob E. East Dateline Jasper, IN Bob E. East, age 86, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 2:06 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at home. Bob was born in Sulphur, Indiana, on January 21, 1932, to Henry Earl and Zella L. (Deom) East. He married Vicki Parker on September 7, 2011 in Dale, Indiana. Bob was a graduate of Oil Township High School. He was a self-employed refrigeration technician, starting in New Albany, Indiana, and ended his career in Tell City as the owner of East’s Refrigeration. He spent 14 years as a Lake Patrolman in CLV. He enjoyed fishing, trapping, and hunting. Surviving are his wife, Vicki East, Jasper, IN, two outstanding sons, Tom (Diane) East, Springfield, IL, Dan (Debbie) East, Greenwood, IN, five grandchildren, Carrie, Deena, Cory, Todd and Cody, seven great grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents. In accordance with Bob’s wishes, cremation was chosen. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice or a favorite charity.
