Benny Thomas Peters of Alton St. in East Liverpool passed away at the Salem North Health Center on Friday, October 5, 2018, following a lengthy illness. 78 years old, Benny was a son of the late Joseph and Nancy Johnston Peters. He was born in Ohioville on November 15, 1939. A retired Caster at Hall China, Benny was a lifelong resident of East Liverpool. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry “Pork” Peters. Benny leaves his children, Brenda Angus and her husband, Brian of East Liverpool, Jeannie Murphy of Negley, and Benny Peters of Chester; his grandchildren, Joseph Peters, Joseph Murphy, and Jacob Angus; his siblings, Nancy (Kenny) Brewer of St. Mary’s, WV., Marcie (Bob) McFeely of Salem, Pat Young of Lexington, KY., Mary “Johnny” (Mike) Stewart of Clearwater, FL., Tina Beaver of Rogers, Pete Johnston of East Liverpool, James (Charlene) Peters of Palm Beach Gardens, FL., and Chuck Peters of Negley. The family will be present to receive friends on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, where Pastor Tom Schneidmiller will conduct services on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in Rogers.
