Benny J. Bachi, 52, of Kewadin, passed away on October 21, 2018 at his home. He was born on January 1, 1966, in Flint, MI. Benny was an avid Star Wars fan and enjoyed water skiing, scuba diving, dirt bikes, and going to the movies. He loved his family and spending every minute with them. He also loved taking cruises with them. On August 9, 1986, in Kewadin, he married Dawn E. Miracle who survives. Also surviving are a daughter Summer Sher’re Laura Bachi of Kewadin, father Ronald Bachi of Canton, MI, a brother Ronald (Janet) Bachi of Williamsburg as well as nieces and nephews, Ryan, Kayla, Kandis, Kaylee, Alexis, Sydney, Taylor, Jessica, Derrick, Emily, and Brook as well as great nephew Mason. He was preceded in death by a son Benny “Boo” Bachi, his mother Sherry Lynn Grider and grandfather Leslie Grider. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. at the Elk Rapids Amvets Post 114. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
