Ben C. Patrick, 88, of Janice, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital. Visitation will be Friday, October 26, 2018 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg and from 10 – 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Janice Baptist Church with services immediately following at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Janice Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Doris Soley Patrick of Janice; two daughters, Vallerie Capps (Shelby) of Indianapolis, IN and Debbie Patrick of Janice; one son, Michael W. Patrick (Jan) of Foxworth; eight grandchildren, Deedee Cooley, Michael Shane Cooley, Michael Brandon Patrick, Jeremy Patrick, Mary Jean Capps, Charlie Capps, Jennifer Capps, and Jonathon Capps; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister, Leah “Tookie” Parker of Purvis; and one brother, Byron Patrick (Sylvia) of Dixie Community.
