Obituary for Barbara E. Miller Barbara E. Miller, age 88 years, of Williamstown and formerly of Fairfield Twp., passed away Saturday afternoon July 21, 2018 in Meadow View Nursing Center , Williamstown. Born August 6, 1929 in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Catherine (nee Pierce) Durham, and the wife of the late David O. Miller, who died in 2000. Barbara was a lifetime resident of this area growing up in Gouldtown. She served on the Gouldtown Fire Company Ladies Auxillary, and attended Bethany Christian Church and Trinity A.M.E. Church Gouldtown. She was formerly employed with Seabrook Bros. and also with the former Desantis Dress Company of Vineland. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and canning fresh vegetables. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family. She is survived by six children, Beverly Hughes of Millville, Frances Murphy of Rosenhayn, David Miller and wife Darlene of Gouldtown, Barbara Johnson and husband Thomas of Vineland, Priscilla Jones and husband Albert of Millville, Christine Gross and husband James of Millville, two sisters, Rebecca Dunn, and Gail Hunter, three brothers, Roger Durham, Carlton Durham, and Robert Durham, ten grandchildren, nine great grands, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sons in law Harmon Murphy Sr., and William Hughes, three sisters, Audrey Durham, Priscilla Pierce, and Gwendolyn Durham, three brothers, her twin brother Wilson Durham, Frank Durham, and Glendon Durham. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday July 27, 2018 at 10:00a.m. from Union Baptist Temple Church, 30 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Bridgeton. A viewing will be held at the church from 8:00 till 10:00a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Gouldtown Memorial Park, Fairfield Twp.
