Obituary of Anthony Degliequi Anthony J. “Bumpy” Degliequi, 81, of Campbell, NY passed away of colon cancer on Sunday October 28, 2018 at home with his family by his side. He was born in Corning, NY on March 10, 1937 to Romano and Rose (Dapolito) Degliequi. He married Jerry Ogden in Corning on June 22, 1968. He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Marine Corps and the Marine Corps Reserves. He retired from Corning, Inc. Steuben Factory in 1996 with 40 years of service. He was a life member of the Corning VFW and the Campbell American Legion, and a past member of the North Corning Fire Department. Bumpy enjoyed fishing, taking photos of the wild life in his backyard for the annual Christmas card, and having breakfast at the Central with the coffee group. He also enjoyed mowing his yard on his Steiner tractor. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jerry (Ogden) Degliequi; sister, Mary Lisi Edger; sister-in-law, Constance Cook; several nieces and nephews; special niece, Mary Jo Naida; and his feline buddy Grady Gray. He was predeceased by his parents; sisters: Catherine Blencowe, Margaret Freeman; brothers: Orlando “Pete” Lisi, Dominic Lisi, Frank and Romano “Junie” Degliequi; brothers-in-law: Wallace Blencowe, Paul Edger and Howard Cook; and his two feline buddies, Dakota and Kitty.
