Obituary of Anthony W. Guarino, Esq. Anthony W. Guarino Esq. was born on February 16th 1948 and passed away on October 15th 2018. Anthony was the beloved husband of Annmarie Guarino (nee Genzano), the loving father of Christina Guarino, cherished brother to his sister Ann Guarino, and brother-in-law Ralph Genzano. He is predeceased by his parents George and Rose Guarino. He is survived by his cousin, Rose Marie Forte. In his younger years Anthony attended St John the Baptist School and later went on to Fordham Prep, Fordham College and Fordham Law School. He was a practicing attorney for over 40 years. He loved to garden, was an avid reader, and loved his Yankees. Anthony could often be found marathoning any version of Star Trek with his daughter. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to all those who have helped and supported Anthony through the last few years. Especially to the doctors, nurse practitioners, respiratory team, nurses, nursing assistants and security at St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, New York and Kindred Hospital (8th Floor) in Wayne, New Jersey. All of you made Anthony comfortable and he appreciated everything you did for him. Funeral Mass Friday, October 19, 2018, 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Church (670 Yonkers Avenue – Yonkers, NY 10704). Following the Mass, Anthony will be laid to rest alongside his parents at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will be present on Thursday, October 18, 2018, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at F.
