Obituary for Anthony Estes Estes Ranburne – Anthony Lee Estes, 64, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Friday, October 19, 2018, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scott Estes officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Ranburne, AL. Visitation will be Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5:00 PM CST until 7:00 PM CST. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include: Wife – Angie Whitmore Estes, Ranburne, AL Daughter – Lorie(Tommy) Bowling, Ranburne, AL Son – Lee(Miranda) Estes, Ranburne, AL Son – David Estes, Ranburne, AL Sister – Kay Steen Brother – Ray Estes Brother – Gary Estes Brother – Tim Estes Grandchildren – Ty & Kip Bowling Grandchildren – Emma, Ethan, Everett, and Ellis Estes Pallbearers will be: Michael Estes, Bob Howle, Tommy Bennett, Eddie Grubbs, Jackie Varnes, and Darrell Durham. Mr. Estes was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County. He spent many years working at L.E. Bell Construction and retired from Anniston Army Depot. Mr. Estes passed away peacefully into heaven’s gates at 11 pm CST. He was passionate about family and hard work. He loved his wife, kids, and grandkids fiercely. Tony loved flannel, stayed cold, ate slow, and smiled all the time. While we are heartbroken, we praise the Lord his ending on Earth was painless and quick.
