Allessandria (Andy) E. Hagemeyer passed away on October 12, 2018, in her home in Raymond at the age of 51. Andy was born December 15, 1966, to Air Force Sgt. Robert Lester and Millie (Towle) Lester in Oak Grove, Kentucky. After her parents moved back to Lincoln in 1968, Andy attended Lincoln schools. She loved the water and loved to swim. Andy spent the majority of her adult life working in the medical field taking care of and tenderly comforting the elderly. She also instructed classes for the driver’s education program and defensive driving through the Nebraska Safety Council. In May 1994, Andy met and fell in love with Bethleen Hagemeyer. They were married April 27, 1996, and lived on a small acreage near Raymond for 24 years. Andy embraced the outdoor country life the acreage let her live. She loved their above ground pool, raising chickens, fruit trees, vegetable garden, spices and particularly loved the pets she and Beth would adopt. Andy was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. She is survived by her wife; Beth Hagemeyer, mother; Millie Lester, sister; Aricka Lester, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial services to be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 17, at First Plymouth Church, 2000 D Street, Lincoln. Private interment held at a later date.
