Obituary of Alice Trusievitz Alice May Trusievitz, age 96, died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Bethany Manor of Horseheads, NY. Mrs. Trusievitz was born May 6, 1922 in Coopers Plains, NY to the late Henry E. and Stella (Rumsey) Tubbs. She married Henry Edward Trusievitz on April 11, 1941 in Painted Post, NY. He predeceased her on April 16, 2005. Alice was employed by Corning Packaging Company for 26 years and retired in 1975. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and doing things for others. Alice loved decorating for the holidays. She and Henry were members of Grace United Methodist Church for many years. Alice is survived by a daughter: Bonnie Teemley of Ocala, FL; sister: Mary Heath of Painted Post, NY; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Michael Werdein of Fairport, NY; son-in-law, Michael Walk of Horseheads, NY; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughters: Patricia Werdein and Pamela Walk; brothers: Walter and Herbert Tubbs; sisters: Margaret Wood and Ann Smith; son-in-law, Thomas Teemley and granddaughter, Michelle Marie Covert. Alice’s family would like to thank the staff of Woodbrook Assisted Living for the wonderful care and loving kindness she was shown while she was a resident. Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 26 from 12-1 PM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street, Corning, NY. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Rev. Michael J. Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Coopers Plains Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Lung Association. Alice’s family entrusted her care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
