ALICE EUSEBIA HOLLAND DAPRA 2018

Alice Eusebia (Holland) Dapra died peacefully on Saturday, October 13, 2018, in Fort Collins, Colorado, at the age of 98. Alice was born to Aloysius D. and Margaret (Ronayne) Holland at their farm near Putney, South Dakota on Thursday, April 8, 1920. She graduated from Columbia High School in 1937 and moved to Minnesota in 1939, where she attended the College of Saint Benedict. Alice married John Fred Dapra, of Sunrise, Wyoming, October 15, 1949. They made their home near Hartville, Wyoming, where Alice remained until she moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, in 2013. Alice was a member of the Saint Anthony Altar & Rosary Society and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. An avid crocheter, she also was a member of the Homemakers Club and a local needlework group. Preceding Alice in death were her husband of 58 years; her parents; an infant brother; two sisters Dorothy (Lawrence) Heister and Adelaide (Ens) Essila; and a son-in-law, Alfred Roberts. She is survived by her eight children: Steven Dapra, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Susan (David) Jackson, of Moreno Valley, California; Margaret (Marc) Provencher, of Fort Collins, Colorado; Daniel Dapra, of Columbus, Ohio; Anne (Mike) Garrison, of Glendale, Arizona; Miriam Dapra, of Hartville, Wyoming; Joseph (Miriam) Dapra, of Belton, Missouri; and Paul Dapra, of Gillette, Wyoming; also eighteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one nephew, Neil (Mary) Essila, of Paradise, California. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held on Friday, October 19, at 7:00 pm at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church, Guernsey, Wyoming. The funeral for Alice will be on Saturday, October 20, at 10:00 am, also at Saint Anthony’s. Burial will follow at the Hartville Cemetery, Hartville, Wyoming. All are welcome to partake in a luncheon immediately following the burial, at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be made to: Little Sisters of the Poor, 3629 West 29th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80211-3698; or to The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, 450 Venard Road, South Abington Township, Pennsylvania 18411.
