Obituary for Thresa Ann Hartrum Thresa Ann Hartrum, 77, of Lafayette passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018. Thresa was born June 29, 1941, in Lafayette, to the late Lawrence L. Halsema and Anna Mae (Powell) Halsema. She married Ronald P. “Ron” Hartrum on June 24, 1978 and he preceded her in death on May 5, 2014. Thresa loved watching cooking shows and doing crafts, she collected cook books and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, David Leming of Lafayette, Kelly (Scott) Gunn of Lafayette, Cindy (Brian) Abston of Fayettville, OH, and Rhonda (Tony) Poe of Monticello; sisters Linda (Ken) Cripe of Columbia City, IN, and Janet (Ron) Loft of Lafayette. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Ron Ping, Travis Bonty, Whitney (Troy) Guiney, Amber Bonty, Anna Aveline, Brandon Abston, Paul (Krystal) Poe, Christopher Abston, Megan (Jason) Hulsey and Mary Poe; and 14 great-grandchildren. Along with her husband Ron, she is preceded in death by her parents, and son Mike Leming. Funeral service will be held 2PM Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Hippensteel Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne McGuire officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
