Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of William Edwards age 73 of Winchester, Tn. Mr. Edwards passed peacefully from this life after an extended illness on Thursday evening, August 23, 2018, while surrounded by his loving family. He will be remembered by the devotion he had for his family and for extending his hand to a friend in need. Those who knew him, knew he never met a stranger and his joy in life was farming. Each animal had a name and he devoted many hours of his time in providing not only for his family, but each one in need. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends as well as his extended church family. Mr. Edwards owned and operated Edward’s Construction Company and was a member of Owl Hollow Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Vivian Edwards; sisters, Dorothy Roberts, Dolly Howse, Jonita Edwards and Debra Sue Edwards. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 52 years, Linda Edwards; sons, Kevin Edwards, Charles Edwards both of Winchester, Thomas and Trudy McKelvey Edwards; brother, Jimmie (Vicki) Edwards of Belvidere; grandchildren, Justin Edwards of Decherd, Micah (Duane) Hutchenson, T.J (Macy) Edwards both of Estill Springs, Zoey Edwards McCollough of Decherd, great grandchildren, Amya McCollough, King McCollough, several nieces and nephews, extends family and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday August 25, 2018 from 5-8. The service will be conducted from the Roy B. Watson Chapel on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Walter Rayburn officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery in the Owl Hollow Community with Jeff Ennis, David McGee, Daryl Doney, John Moore, Jerry Eslick and Ted Boswell serving as pallbearers.
