Obituary for Vannette T. Copeland Vannette T. Copeland, 69 of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died August 18, 2018, at Shiloh Nursing and Rehab, in Springdale, Arkansas. Born August 24, 1948, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of William Thomas and Dorothy Matthews Thomas. She and John Copeland were married July 2, 1970. She was a member of Community Christian Fellowship and was active in Bible Study Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, step father Bill Fortune and husband. Survivors include her sons Aaron Copeland and wife Nancy of Springdale, Arkansas and Seth Copeland of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; daughter Sarah Givens of Wichita Falls, Texas; three grandchildren Aidan and Evan Copeland and Genevieve Givens; brother Stan Thomas of Wichita Falls, Texas; and sisters Teresa Meriwether of Durham, North Carolina and Janet Marshall of Fort Collins, Colorado. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at Elmdale Baptist Church, Springdale, Arkansas. Burial will be private.
