Timothy Roger Rindels 2018

Timothy Roger Rindels, 59, of Finchford, Iowa, died on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, following a work-related accident. Tim was born on August 1, 1959, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Gerry Lou (Newell) and Roger John Rindels. He attended school in Cedar Falls and graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1978. Tim married Jody Fauser, and the couple was blessed with two sons, Cody and Lucas. Tim and Jody later divorced. Tim worked several years at Bertch Cabinets, then Wayne Engineering, and finally as a finishing carpenter at E360. Tim was very social. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, playing pool, and caring for his mother. Tim is survived by two sons, Cody Rindels and Lucas Rindels, both of Waterloo, Iowa; his mother, Gerry Rindels of Finchford, Iowa; one sister, Kelly (Jaime) Pastor of Bedford, New Hampshire; three brothers, Chris (Denise) Rindels of Rockford, Illinois, Tony Rindels of Hudson, Iowa, and Nick Rindels of Dewar, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Rindels; and a sister, Julie. According to his wishes, Tim’s body has been cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Lloyd Rindels officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation, and online condolences may be left at www.kaisercorson.com. Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly is assisting the family.
