Timothy R. “Weasel” Cupps, 58, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on August 14, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 20th, 2018 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road with Rev. Donald Key officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19th, 2018 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory. Tim was born on March 15, 1960 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Robert and Catherine Cupps (Peterman). He married June Jaeger on April 30th, 1988 at Washington Park in Dubuque. Tim drove for Theisen Transport and most recently for Lindbery Trucking Co. He also previously worked at Ritehite. Tim was an avid Minnesota Viking fan, he enjoyed bowling, being outdoors, looking for morels and ginseng, fishing, and hunting. He enjoyed helping others and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandson Jace. He is survived by his wife June, two children Kari Cupps and Brett Cupps and his grandson Jace. Three sisters, Connie (Terry) Hackbarth, Julie McKinlay, Mary (Tim) Mills; five brothers, Mark Cupps, Steve Cupps, Chris Cupps, Terry Cupps, and Joe (Elizabeth) Peterman. His mother and father-in-law Richard and Judy Jacobs and their family along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law Arnold Jaeger, II, and brother-in-law Arnold Jaeger, III. In lieu of flowers a Timothy Cupps memorial fund will be established.
